Clark University Scholarship Details
For international students, the scholarship conversation at Clark is refreshingly straightforward: you apply, and you’re automatically considered for merit awards. Then, if you’re seeking financial help beyond merit, you submit one required financial form through your applicant portal.
1) International merit scholarships (automatic consideration)
Clark says international first-year students can be eligible for five merit scholarships:
- International Traina Scholarship
- International Achievement Scholarship
- International Jonas Clark Scholarship
- Presidential Scholarship
- Global Scholars Scholarship
The key thing: international first-year applicants are automatically considered for the first three (Traina, Achievement, Jonas Clark).
So you don’t “find” these scholarships and apply separately. You focus on submitting a strong admission application.
2) The big ones: Presidential and Global Scholars
Clark notes that separate essays are required to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship and the Global Scholars Program Scholarship.
Clark’s scholarship page also describes the Presidential Scholarship as covering full tuition plus on-campus housing and meals for four years, with finalists invited to interview.
Clark University Scholarship Requirements (what they look at)
Clark’s merit scholarships are based on what’s in your admission application: academics, accomplishments, and personal qualities. Merit decisions are made without considering financial need, and recipients are notified with admission decisions.
For international students who want financial assistance, you must complete Clark’s required financial form in your portal (details below)
